Finance Manager – China
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Finance Manager is the primary owner of accounting as well as financial planning and reporting for all assigned Legal Entities in China.
- Reporting to the global Group Manager Accounting (functionally), the position will ensure the Chinese legal entities are clearly and concisely communicating financial results to the parent company and other stakeholders
- This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily tasks and overall development of the regional Finance Team.
- Partner with the Group Manager Accounting to ensure that the region operates within the financial procedures and policies of TecAlliance.
- Ensure that the financial statements of the region are produced and managed in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Monitor the regional DSO and identify expected cash shortages, conduct liquidity management
- Ensure proper cost bookings and that revenues are taken in line with TecAlliance Revenue Recognition policies.
Tasks
- Conduct and continuously improves the regional Finance-processes (in the new ERP-System) in close alignment with the global process owners
- Coordinates and aligns regional Finance processes, in particular planning and reporting processes, tools, topics with headquarter
- Budgeting of internal ACC team and external ACC/Tax service providers
- Ensures that TA-group internal transfer-pricing is in line with local rules
- Manages Inter-Company-Transactions
- Acts a contact to the local banks and coordinates all banking topics
- Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audits.
- Monitor changes in local financial regulations affecting the company
- Work closely with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Supports in corporate legal matters
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification is a plus
- CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager in a multinational company
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of International Accounting Rules (IFRS), German accounting standards (HGB)is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in financial management software, bookkeeping software, and Microsoft Office suite.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
- German language skills are a plus
